Day 8: The good, the bad, and the ugly...

First the good: I lost a total of 13 pounds!!! 13 in 7!! I was so excited when I saw that.

Then the bad: I cheated two major times during the first week :(. I ordered Mancino's, and Tiffany's Pizza. Even though the food was not that much, it was not worth the money I spent on it. Not at all! I think my body is starting to not be used to this type of food, but my mind it still yearning for that occasional slice of pizza, that occasional candy bar on my way to my next destination, my bag of Sour Patch kids at the movie theater. I've done surprisingly well with staying away from sweets. Sweets were the number one!! I also did not consumed any red meat.

Now on to the ugly: The ugly truth, that is! Truth is, we are all human! We cannot expect to stick to such a life-altering, rigorous diet overnight. Yet, we still see amazing results from our "misfortunes"! I'm not saying that cheating is right. No, not at all! However, it is so easy to bounce back from our mistakes, if caught in time. I went back on the diet the very next day after cheating, and the cheating did not last all day. Just for one meal.  True the weight loss could have been less if I did not cheat, but 13 pounds in 7 days is pretty impressive!! I'll take it!

I want to go on. Now I will really need the strength to say "no", and hopefully for good!
